Inspired by their travels to Central and South America, owners Michael Boland and Deirdre Swords opened Havana 11 years ago with the intention of integrating a New England sensibility with the best of Latin culture and cuisine.

Mark “Duffy” Dyer presides over the bar and is the magic behind Havana’s legendary Mojitos. He is also the host of a local radio program on WERU in Blue Hill and has the knowledge and know-how to select the perfect music played at the restaurant.

Executive Chef, Jason Casey is a graduate of the prestigious Culinary Institute of America in New York. Having nurtured a lifelong respect and passion for food alongside many great chefs in New York City, Chef Jason Casey is tirelessly committed to quality. With a focus on fresh, seasonal, and sustainable ingredients, a culinary ideal is shared by all at Havana.
